I’m married to my wonderful wife Erin and have three amazing children who fill my days with joy and panic. We live in Rehoboth, Massachusetts with three dogs and a cat.
When I’m not being a dad, I’m the Head of User Experience for Sports Reference, LLC. I work on some of my favorite digital products in the world such as Baseball-Reference, FBref, and Stathead. I was previously a part of the excellent product teams at ezCater, Dribbble, HubSpot, PatientsLikeMe, and Batchbook.
When the kids are asleep and the work is done, I like to write about baseball history from a statistical perspective (while designing and building tools to present my findings). My pet project is The Hall of Stats, an alternate Hall of Fame populated by a mathematical formula.
I began coaching recreational soccer and futsal in 2014 and moved on to travel soccer in 2016. I’m a coach and board member of the Conval Soccer Club. I’m also a Borussia Dortmund fan.
After taking a decade off from writing and recording music, I released a full-length punk rock album (called “YAY!”) in November 2015.
